John, this is the last time I'll be reaching out today — and I wish I had better news about our petition to ban assault weapons in honor of Parkland victims and survivors. With just hours to go until our midnight deadline, we're still 1,000 signatures short of our goal.

I'm a gun violence survivor like Robert. We know that banning these deadly weapons of war is a crucial step toward stopping another horrific massacre like Parkland.

With the Biden-Harris administration in the White House and gun safety champions in Congress, we finally have an opportunity to take assault rifles off our streets — but Brady can't do it alone. We need grassroots advocates like you to take action immediately to help us prevent more senseless deaths.

In honor of the third anniversary of the Parkland shooting, please take just 30 seconds to add your name: Sign the petition calling on Congress to ban assault weapons, so we can save lives from gun violence.

Thanks for everything you do,

Liz Dunning
VP of Development, Brady
