VPAP's 2020 Recap
In a year of constant change, VPAP stayed focused on our mission of elevating public understanding of Virginia politics. Our 2020 Annual Report documents our progress last year. The highlights and innovations included were possible with the support of VPAP's 1,500 donors, each of whom is listed in the report.
Redistricting Delayed
It's official Virginia will not have time to redraw new House of Delegates districts in time for the November elections. The U.S. Census Bureau announced Friday that it would delay release of updated population numbers needed for redistricting until September 30, which would leave Virginia's Redistricting Commission with too little time to draw new maps based on the 2020 Census results.
