Senator Lindsey Graham seems to think the best way to prove his loyalty to Trump is attacking Vice President Kamala Harris.
Speaking about Trump's Senate impeachment trial, Graham repeated an all too common Republican lie: VP Harris, not Trump, is the true inciter of violence because she “bailed people out of jail” during Black Lives Matter protests this past summer. He's referring to the fact that Harris encouraged donations to the Minnesota Freedom Fund this summer, a bail reform organization that helped pay bail for arrested protestors -- who should not be compared to Trump's white supremacist mob.
We don't think Graham's false equivalencies or “she-did-it-too” defense will hold any water, but regardless, we cannot stand by while our vice president is subject to racist slander. Please, tell us now:
