Liberal candidates across the country are working hard to bring our communities’ voices to Ottawa. While some of us may be putting our names on the ballot for the first time (myself included!), we all bring a unique set of experiences that makes us ready for the job.
I was a broadcaster for nearly 3 decades. Working to tell the stories of people in my community taught me a lot about the people I now hope to represent – the people whose stories I’m hearing on the doorstep every day. People here in Vancouver Kingsway and all across Canada want to Choose Forward on priorities like housing, fighting climate change, and affordability, and they care deeply about building a better future for our kids.
A re-elected Liberal government will keep moving forward with more help for families. More help for the middle class, and for everyone working hard to join it. More work to build on the 1.1 million new jobs created since 2015. And more action to fight the climate crisis and protect our environment, including protecting our oceans and coasts and banning harmful plastics.
