By the November 2006 election the so-called Gang of Four and their allies had flipped the Colorado House, Senate, and governorship blue and constructed a political infrastructure that has so far prevented Colorado Republicans from recovering. Irony so thick you can cut it with a knife: A new report ([link removed] the U.N. credits rapidly falling U.S. emissions in recent years to the country's widespread adoption of natural gas--which occurred thanks to our fracking boom--and, to a lesser extent, more use of wind and solar energy. The U.S. should reach 2020 emissions reductions targets in the 2010 Cancun Agreements, unlike much-lauded "green" Canada, which stayed in the Paris Agreement.
