 ACROSS THE NATION 

• 120 legal, medical, and advocacy organizations sent a letter to the White House and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to ask the Biden administration to review the cases of 14,000 people who remain in immigration detention.
  
  The groups say that these individuals—many of whom have been detained for years—do not fall within DHS' new enforcement priorities. They also are at greater risk of contracting COVID-19 in detention.
