Hey — we wanted to make sure you saw Tammy’s note from yesterday. Our team is still a bit short of our quarterly fundraising goal and need your help to meet it.

Team —

In a few moments, I am going to ask you to make a contribution before our FEC fundraising deadline on Monday. My hope is that you’ll give me a quick minute to explain why this request is so important — especially today.

As you know, there’s a lot happening in Washington right now. As the House continues its critical work to get to the full truth and hold this administration accountable, I want to let you know about the important work being done in the Senate, too.

I’ve been working on legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs, end the gun violence epidemic, fight climate change, and guarantee equal justice for everyone — no matter who you are or who you love.

Thankfully, I have had folks like you to help me along the way.

Your support has allowed me to stay focused on doing my job. But with so many critical fights coming up in the Senate, I am going to have much less time to raise money. This is where I’m hoping you will step in.

Unfortunately, we’re behind on our goals for the quarter and I’m hoping grassroots donors like you can make it up. The response to these emails has always been so incredible, so I hope I can count on you today:

I am asking you to add a contribution of $10 or whatever you can afford before Monday’s FEC deadline. Can I count on you? Anything you can give will go a long way to keep me staying focused on my work in the Senate and less time dialing for dollars.

Your contributions have made the difference time and again and allow me to spend more time talking with Wisconsin voters and doing my job in the Senate. That’s a gift I know I am lucky to have, especially today.
