It's time to vote on TCDSA's endorsement process
On Wednesday, February 3rd, Twin Cities DSA’s Steering Committee gave its preliminary approval to an electoral endorsement process drafted by the Electoral Working Group. At our chapter meeting on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021, the Electoral Working Group presented the process to the general body. Chapter members can now vote on whether to approve the process. If you're a member in good standing, you'll have received an email from OpaVote, subject "Your Endorsement Process Ballot", with a link to your ballot.
In order to pass, the resolution must receive a Yes vote from 50% plus 1 of those voting. The voting period is open now and will extend until Saturday, February 20th, 6:30pm.
