As I'm sure you saw, Donald Trump was just acquitted by the Senate.

For years, we heard Trump's rhetoric divide our country like never before until it came to a head on January 6.

We read all of his tweets.
We saw all of his rallies.
We know who caused this.

Yet it was not enough for most of my colleagues on the other side of the aisle in the Senate to stand up and do the right thing.
