[1]Women's March
John,
Just now, Republicans in the Senate voted to acquit Donald Trump after he
incited his failed, white supremacist attack on the Capitol.
This deeply disappointing outcome is the direct result of cowardly
Republican Senators failing to uphold their oaths of office and betraying
the American people.
We know why this happened, John.
Too many Republican Senators failed to stand up to their colleagues in the
Sedition Caucus, like Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley. And while this impeachment
trial may be over, our work to hold Trump, the Sedition Caucus, and the
rest of their anti-woman cronies accountable is just getting started.
Women's March is leading the charge to expel the entire Sedition Caucus,
organize to elect progressive leaders, and fight back against Trumpism
whenever it rears its ugly head. [ [link removed] ]Please rush an urgent

While Trump may no longer be in office, it's clear that our movement still
has urgent work to do. Women's March is already underway with concrete
plans to make the Sedition Caucus pay the price for their actions.
* Women's Marchers have already sent thousands of letters to Ted Cruz's
top funders demanding they cease and desist their support of his
campaign. This is how we'll defend Cruz and make sure he never holds
office again.
* Over 18,500 members of this team have signed on to our petition to
expel the Sedition Caucus for their role in the failed, violent riots
on January 6.
* Together, we're training women across the country to engage and
mobilize their communities to build grassroots organizing power.
We’re outraged at the results of this vote. But we’re not going to allow
Republicans to normalize Trump’s violent behavior while our democracy
crumbles. We’ve fought too hard to quit now – which is why we need your
immediate support to fund our work to take on Trump's allies who remain in
Congress.
[ [link removed] ]Rush a $3 contribution to support Women's March's work
to fight back against the GOP members of Congress who continue to enable
Donald Trump. The only way we can continue this fight is together.
In solidarity,
Rachel
