Thank you, OAC Members, for supporting National Obesity Care Week and access to care!

National Obesity Care Week (NOCW) just wrapped up its special edition "Access to Care" week, and the OAC wants to thank our members for helping us support it!

Last week, together with patient advocates across the country, you amplified the message that access to healthcare is important to everyone no matter their weight, size or economic status. You shared with us your personal experiences with access to care that told stories of hope, worry, frustration and advocacy. You showed that obesity care matters.

Thank you to everyone for elevating NOCW and taking OAC Action! To view a recap of last week and hear more patient stories, CLICK HERE for an update on the OAC Blog.

A lot is being said about Bill Maher's fat-shaming comments in a recent episode of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher.
