It’s February, and that means a couple of things to me as Team Mikie’s Finance Director:

• It’s a short month, which means we have even less time to reach our fundraising benchmarks.
• February is often a post-election slump that’s a notoriously slow time for fundraising.

But here’s the thing -- we can’t afford any slow months or downtime. 

For one, Washington Republicans didn’t waste any time before launching partisan attacks against Mikie. Plus, a Republican opponent has already entered our race to challenge Mikie. And third, tomorrow is the first mid-quarter deadline of the year!

We’re counting on the early engagement of grassroots supporters like you to help us reach our fundraising goals, raise the resources to respond to attacks, and defend Mikie’s place in Congress -- and the Democratic House Majority along with it. Since entering her second term in Congress, Mikie has already jumped into action to support parents, teachers, and students in her new role on the House Education and Labor Committee; to respond to the pandemic and support vaccine distribution; and to get to the bottom of the January attack at the Capitol and hold all those responsible accountable.

Mikie is focused on the needs of New Jerseyans, so we need to focus on making sure she can keep fighting for them in Congress. If you can, chip in now before the mid-quarter deadline tomorrow.
