11 years since the Supreme Court’s ruling on Citizens United—which enabled
corporations and other outside groups to spend unlimited funds on
elections.

Citizens United changed our elections. It’s one of the reasons why corrupt
people like Donald Trump can run for president and win.

But despite what the Supreme Court determined, here’s the truth: Money is
not speech, corporations are not people, and our democracy is not for
sale.
