Africa & Europe
- Pray as COVID cases in Romania have increased, leading to a new State of Alert that will be in effect for 30 days. Pray for our IJM staff and for the survivors we serve in Romania, for their safety and health in the coming weeks.
Latin America
- Praise God that the leader of a criminal network that trafficked vulnerable women from 9 countries will remain restrained after a court of appeals in the Dominican Republic

increased his sentence from 6 years to 15. Our team's persistence was instrumental in ensuring justice for 15 women who had been trafficked and sexually exploited. Pray that this strong decision will serve as a precedent for other courts to rule with justice for the most vulnerable.
South Asia
- Please pray for the legal case of Abha,* a survivor of sex trafficking we

introduced to you last year that IJM has supported since 2015. She had been trafficked for sex for two years as a young teenager and faced unspeakable violence. Last week, however, the judge in the case acquitted all 11 suspects involved in Abha's abuse. This was a heartbreaking blow for our team, who watched Abha testify bravely over the last several years. Pray for our team's re-strategizing on an appeal in the case and for justice to finally be served.
Southeast Asia
- Praise God for back-to-back operations in the Philippines that led to 20 children being rescued from online sexual exploitation. Pray for the children who are now in custody of agencies providing trauma and recovery interventions, that they would feel safe and begin healing.
