2/20 7 PM Ohio DSA Statewide Meeting - Find out what comrades throughout Ohio have been working on and discuss plans for 2021. Carlos Rosa (Chicago Alderman and Chicago DSA Member) will be our keynote speaker, and Akron DSA Co-Chair Heather Hillenbrand will represent our chapter on a panel highlighting Ohio DSA recent successes and upcoming campaigns.
2/21 4 PM Housing Meeting - Discuss possibilities for organizing to improve life for Akronites and win housing for all.
2/25 6 PM February General Meeting - We will announce the results of our chapter's vote on endorsing Nina Turner. Members should check Slack for endorsement updates and be on the lookout for an E-Vote.
3/14 6:30 PM Let's Pass the PRO Act Townhall - Join Ohio DSA chapters, rank and file union members, and labor leaders from Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana for a Town Hall discussing the PRO Act. Learn about how the PRO Act could change the face of labor forever by allowing workers all over the United States the ability to more freely and safely organize their workplace.
