Dear Friend,
The last four years saw one rollback of environmental protections after another. While Earthjustice attorneys were in the courtroom holding the line to defend environmental and health protections, you exemplified our shared values of justice and equity and voiced your support for a heathy environment for all.
Now, we are a few weeks into the Biden-Harris administration, that has hit the ground running with government-wide actions to address climate change and environmental injustices and move toward a pollution-free, clean energy future.
We cannot ignore the collective power of the people to create change. And we must continue to put pressure on elected officials so we can work together to build back better. Below you will find opportunities to reach out to decisionmakers and urge them to take even bolder action on behalf of the people and our planet.

Send President Biden a thank you message
Since taking office, President Biden has rejoined the Paris Agreement, declared a moratorium on oil and gas leases on public lands, has committed to investing in communities most impacted by pollution — and even more. Send a letter to President Biden thanking his administration for these early actions that address climate change, promote environmental justice, and move us toward a clean energy future.

Tell the Senate to confirm a climate cabinet
The Biden-Harris administration has assembled a team that’s ready to tackle the climate crisis. Before this team can get to work directing the federal government’s climate action, they must be confirmed by the United States Senate. This is where you come in — contact your senators to tell them they need to swiftly confirm the Biden administration’s nominees. The climate crisis isn’t stopping, so neither can we.
TAKE ACTION

Introduce yourself to your member of Congress
Whether you’re an activist, a regular voter, or have never voted in your life, your voice matters. We must hold our elected officials accountable every single day — because if we don’t, entrenched interests will be the only ones who do.
