Here are just a few areas that Biden's Executive Orders take on.

Covid-19 Response:
Establish response coordinators
Improve data collection
Establish a task force looking at the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on communities of color.

Covid-19 Relief & Support:
Help local communities house people who are homeless
Address the economic fallout
Support studies and assist local areas experiencing a surge of cases
Coordinate supplies and testing
Expand support to states
Guidance on safely opening schools

Covid-19 Worker Protections:
Require masks on domestic transport
Protect federal workers
Require masks on all federal lands and buildings
Set stronger worker standards with Occupational Safety and Health Administration revising Covid safety recommendations.

Immigration:
Reunify families separated at the US-Mexico border
Review rules that might make it hard for people to access the legal immigration process
Reverse Trump’s attempt to defund “sanctuary cities”
End construction of the border wall
Reaffirm protections for people brought to the US as children without documents
End Trump’s travel ban

Environment:
Rejoin the Paris climate agreement, committing the US to international carbon emissions goals.
Reverse an array of Trump policies: This includes the Trump administration efforts to weaken car emissions standards, energy efficiency standards, and rules that help industries at the expense of the environment

Civil Rights:
Reverse an order that restricted diversity and inclusion training for federal agencies
Reaffirm that LGBTQ+ people are protected from sex discrimination
Reverse order banning transgender people from the military
Reaffirm tribal sovereignty
Condemn xenophobia against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in their Covid-19 response
End use of private prisons for federal inmates
Restore federal support for reproductive health programs
Reverse anti-fair housing policies repealed by Trump
