STATEWIDE VACCINE APPOINTMENTS
On Friday, January 29, the State of Florida announced the launch of a statewide preregistration system to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointment for eligible individuals: people 65 and older, frontline health care workers, and long-term care facility residents and staff.
Individuals can pre-register for vaccine appointments and be notified when appointments are available in their area by visiting myvaccine.fl.gov.
This website will allow individuals who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to be proactively contacted when vaccine appointments are available at state-supported vaccination sites. On the site, residents can select their county and submit their contact information. Once appointments are available, individuals will be contacted by phone call, text or email and will be assisted in scheduling an appointment.
Additionally, as part of the statewide registration system, each county has a designated phone number that individuals can call and pre-register if they do not have Internet access. The complete list of numbers is available here, and local numbers are below:
- Escambia County: 866-201-1025
- Okaloosa County: 866-200-3599
- Santa Rosa County: 866-201-7110
- Walton County: 866-201-3054
- Holmes County: 866-201-3925
On January 21, State Surgeon General Dr. Scott Rivkees issued a Public Health Advisory prioritizing vaccine in Florida for Florida residents. (The public health advisory is here). Please remember to bring proof of residency for any appointment.

GUEST VIEW: Gaetz fulfilling his duties properly
These local Democratic leaders are obsessed with Matt Gaetz for talking too much on Fox, but they have nothing to say when Democrats like Jerry Nadler, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters, Eric Swalwell, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib want to turn this country into a socialist nightmare, and silence those who disagree. These Dems never miss a chance to offer a sound bite or jump in front of a camera.

Republicans raise bias claims to board reviewing Trump’s Facebook ban
What they’re saying: Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.), the top Republican on Judiciary’s antitrust panel, writes in the letter that Republicans believe Facebook’s “de-platforming standards are not applied in a fair and neutral manner.” “Instances where conservatives viewpoints have been censored, blocked, diminished harm the free exchange of ideas and irreparably damage conservative Americans’ faith in the fairness of purportedly neutral actors like Facebook,” Buck writes in the letter, also signed by nine other Republican lawmakers including Reps. Darrell Issa, Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz.
