Today is Galantine's Day, providing us with an opportunity to reflect on the love and support we have from our supporters. Thank you for joining us in the fight for equality. We are so proud of all of those women who have become before us and join with us in this battle.
New Equal Power training

Less than a month before International Women's Day we have launched our latest series of FREE training events for women looking to get into politics and public life.

Women have largely been invisible from the Government's coronavirus decision making table, together we can change this. The series includes spaces and support specifically for groups of women who are further under-represented across politics, including Women of Colour and D/deaf and disabled women.

Sign up for several sessions or pick the one that is best for you - we can't wait to see you on zoom very soon.

Our letter to the Prime Minister - responding to the WESC report

The report from the Women and Equalities Committee highlighted the poor consideration of the impact of the pandemic on women. The reported demonstrated how the pandemic may exacerbate the already existing inequalities and the unequal position of women in work and society.

In response Fawcett led a coalition of organisations who called on the Prime Minister to implement the recommendations from the committee. From maintaining the £20 Universal Credit uplift to publishing equality impact assessments, these recommendations are vital to ensure the pandemic doesn't turn back the clock on gender equality.

Last Chance: Call for Evidence: Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

Our call for evidence is closing this Sunday so now is your last opportunity to contribute. We're looking to hear from those who have suffered sexual harassment in the workplace to tell us about the response of their employer and what they thought about this response.

The evidence and stories shared will help us develop tools and resources for employers. We need employers to understand their role in and how to tackle sexual harassment.  If you have experienced sexual harassment, please do considering sharing your experiences to help us push for change.
