Your campaign brief for February 13, 2021

John-

Dan Crenshaw here,

This week, I released a list of where conservatives need to stand our ground in the culture wars. I also slammed the Biden Administration for walking back their plan to reopen schools and called out Houston’s district attorney Kim Ogg for prosecuting a doctor for giving out too many COVID vaccines.

Now, here’s your campaign brief.

WHERE CONSERVATIVES SHOULD FIGHT ON THE CULTURE WARS

READ: CONSERVATIVE GUIDE TO THE CULTURE WARS

Attacks on free speech. Defunding the police. Cancel culture. Demonizing America’s founding, our anthem, and the flag.

These are the cultural fights the left has picked. And we can’t let them win.

If we lose the cultural debate, we lose everything. All policy is downstream from culture, and if we don’t win the culture wars our party and our country will wither.

So what are the conservative principles we need to stand by on the culture war? What are our battle fronts? Well, to make it easy, I created a list.

This isn’t exhaustive by any means, but it’s a good starting point for where we stand our ground on the culture wars.

Here are the first 5:
  1. America is worthy of our love and patriotism.
  2. Victor mentality is better than a victim mentality.
  3. Free speech is absolute. Hate speech is not an objective term.
  4. It doesn’t matter what kind of gun you restrict, criminals still hurt people. Let us protect ourselves.
  5. You get to keep wealth you create and pass it to your kids.

I THOUGHT DEMOCRATS WERE THE "PARTY OF SCIENCE"...?

Joe Biden likes to lecture the American people about “listening to the science” when it comes to COVID. But his own administration is IGNORING the science when it comes to reopening schools.

Let’s get something clear: there has never been a scientific, public health, or logical rationale for keeping kids out of school. Our nation’s leading health care experts have told us that children can return to the classroom safely.

So why isn’t Joe Biden “listening to the science” as he lectures the rest of the country? Because he is taking direction from his teacher union donors.

Meanwhile, our children and their families - especially low income communities of color - are suffering because the Joe Biden refuses to show leadership and reopen our schools.

Enough is enough. Listen to the science, Joe. Open the schools.

HOUSTON DISTRICT ATTORNEY KIM OGG NEEDS TO RESIGN

READ: THE VACCINE HAD TO BE USED. HE USED IT. HE WAS FIRED.

What would you say if I told you that a district attorney tried to imprison an immigrant doctor for giving the vaccine to more people in our community rather than throwing it away?

You would say they should resign, right? Absolutely.

Well, that’s exactly what our district attorney, Kim Ogg, is doing -  she is prosecuting an immigrant doctor because rather than throwing away an unused vial of the COVID vaccine, he decided to give it to at-risk individuals in our community. You cannot make this up.

Houston - this is why your vote for district attorney matters. Kim Ogg needs to resign and we need to hear from Mayor Turner about his thoughts on this absurd prosecution.

If you don’t believe me, the New York Times covered the entire story.
