By now, you’ve probably heard about Scott Morrison’s sweeping changes to Australia’s workplace laws. He’s using the pandemic as cover to let companies cut your pay and protections at work.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that this is the biggest attack on working people since John Howard. We beat WorkChoices then, and we’ll beat these changes now.  

But Labor will also do more than that. We’re offering working people a better deal.

On Wednesday, I announced Labor’s Secure Australian Jobs Plan – and I need your help to get the word out. Our plan will confront the crisis of insecure work. It will tackle the creeping casualisation of work. And, through leadership that starts from the top, we’ll start building an economy that works for people, not the other way around.
