The impeachment trial in the Senate is winding down and every senator will soon have to go on record to decide if the President of the United States is above the law. It’s as simple as that. Despite the hours of disingenuous “whataboutism” and gaslighting that constituted Donald Trump’s defence, the facts remain clear and uncontested. *The former president incited the attack on January 6 and abandoned his sworn duties to defend our country —* *we must stand united to ensure this can never happen again.
