Governor Ducey Announces The University Of Arizona To Be First State Vaccination Site In Southern Arizona
The state vaccination site will expand the current capacity and hours of operation at the existing university site, which has a proven record of success in vaccinating students, faculty and staff. The vaccination site at the university will be the third state site, and the first in Pima County.
University Of Arizona: University To Become High-Capacity State Vaccination Site
"Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey and the Arizona Department of Health Services announced today that the University of Arizona will become a high-capacity state vaccination site serving southern Arizona... As a state site, it will eventually be able to operate 24/7 and serve up to 6,000 people per day."
MILESTONE: Arizona Hits One Million Doses
Governor Doug Ducey is applauding the hard work of Arizona’s medical professionals, volunteers and frontline workers as the state reached one million vaccine doses administered this week.

Governor Ducey Announces Rental Assistance Program To Provide Financial Assistance And Housing Stability
The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) was awarded $289 million with the remaining balance going directly to large cities and counties. Funding will be used toward direct payments for rent, rental arrears, utilities, utility arrears, and other expenses related to housing stability incurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
PRIMER: Modernizing Arizona’s Gaming Compact
Governor Ducey in his State of the State address noted the opportunity for modernized gaming tribal compacts as they begin expiring within the next few years. The Governor’s Office is working with tribes and stakeholders to update the agreement so that it provides regulated, safe and limited gaming while preserving the culture of our state.
Governor Ducey Signs Executive Order To Promote Job Creation, Economic Development
Governor Ducey this week signed an Executive Order renewing a moratorium on all new regulatory rulemaking by state agencies, limiting government regulations that inhibit job growth.
