Friend -- The Cook Political Report just released their 2021 redistricting overview, and there's good news and bad news.

"The stakes [of 2021 redistricting] couldn't be much higher: Democrats hold their narrowest House majority since the 1930s, and even tiny line changes could tip control in 2022." -- The Cook Political Report

The good news: "Less Republican dominance" than in 2011, when the GOP controlled the maps of five times as many U.S. House seats as Democrats did. That change is because of our work to win elections and support new independent redistricting commissions. Help us keep it going.

The bad news: Cook projects that Republicans could gain an additional five seats (or more!) if they're allowed to rig the maps again. With the margin in the House as thin as it is, we can't let them cheat like this.

That's why we're asking -- will you pitch in to help us stop the GOP from gerrymandering for another decade?

Republicans have already announced their plans to manipulate the maps again. According to the head of the Republican State Leadership Committee, they want to use redistricting to "secure a decade of power across the country" -- just like they did in 2011.

We still have time to stop them but not much. Please pitch in now so we can go all out to defeat their gerrymandering efforts this year.
