Hi John,

Black History Month is a time to honor Black stories, but it is also a reminder that Black history should be studied, acknowledged, and celebrated every day of the year.

We absolutely cannot limit Black appreciation to February alone.

That's why I am proud to support the NAACP, which works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week to lift up Black voices and the ongoing fight for equality and equity.

Their work is critical in the fight to end discrimination, remove racial barriers to democratic participation, secure civil rights, and so much more -- and right now, I'm asking you will join us in that fight.

If you're able, make a donation of $5 or whatever you can to help fuel the NAACP's legal defense fund fight for equality and help amplify Black voices year round.

We all have to do our part to stand up, speak out, and support Black history, causes, and equity.

So as the NAACP works in the public sphere and in our courts to advance civil rights, I am dedicated to supporting their mission by passing legislation like the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, combating voter suppression, and ensuring equity among our communities -- especially as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to disproportionately affect our communities of color.

In the fight for equality, staying silent is not an option. Not today, not this month, not ever.

And for over 100 years, the NAACP has been leading that fight -- and they need support as much as ever. Click here to make a donation >>
