I wanted to wish a very happy and fulfilling Lunar New Year to all those who celebrate! This year is the Year of the Ox, which will bring good luck and strong relationships to all. The Lunar New Year is a time to safely celebrate a significant time in Chinese culture, and I’ve been honored to celebrate with the Nevadan Asian American and Pacific Islander community for many years.
The Lunar New Year is a perfect time to bring hope and light into our lives. The New Year signals a time to serve and support our communities, and fight injustice no matter where we are to make Nevada a safer, more equitable place for all.
The Lunar New Year is an amazing time to reflect on the past year, but also look forward to what the future brings. I wish for everyone a peaceful, prosperous, and safe Year of the Ox!
