The Government has launched a crucially important consultation on the draft revised UK National Action Plan for the Sustainable Use of Pesticides – referred to as ‘the NAP’ – which sets out how pesticides are allowed to be used across the UK for the next five years.
Go even further! If you have 15 minutes use our guidance to fill out the full consultation online. While many organisations will be taking a stand against agricultural pesticide use, few are highlighting a critical gap in the current draft: reducing the use of pesticides in urban and other non-agricultural settings. Our guide walks you through the consultation process and provides suggested answers, with the aim of getting pesticides out of our towns and cities. Feel free to edit these answers if you wish. We have also provided a list of recommendations that PAN UK would like to see included which you may find helpful if you would like to change the focus of your answers. We’d love to hear if you’ve taken this action so do let us know here.
If you would like a demonstration on how to answer the consultation, or if you have any questions, drop in on our Submission Blitz on Tuesday 23rd February between 6pm and 7pm.
