The right-wing insurrectionist crowd loves to scream “Blue Lives Matter” when responding to campaigns for racial justice and equality in America.

But they don’t really care about our law enforcement officers. It’s just a talking point they use to divide people. Because when they rioted at the Capitol, they literally used their “Blue Lives Matter” flags to try and kill and injure police officers.

[[link removed]]VoteVets has a unique voice in this struggle because a lot of veterans join law enforcement after completing their service. It is our job to make it clear that people like Ron Johnson and Josh Hawley couldn’t care less about them.

140 officers were injured on January 6th including cracked ribs and spinal and head injuries. Black officers were called the N-word and other horrible racial slurs. One officer described physically fighting the rioters while they hurled “Blue Lives Matter” flags at him. If THAT’s not the height of hypocrisy, we don’t know what is.

These Trump supporters don’t actually care about our law enforcement officers — they just want to use them as props to support their own agenda.

It’s disgusting. So we are speaking out.
