Travel update in Nottingham 12 February - 19 February

Act like you've got it

Stay home to save lives

The new variant of Covid-19 is spreading fast. The best way to limit its spread is to act like you've got it and stay at home as much as possible.

You should only be travelling for essential purposes and exercise only. By making unnecessary journeys you could be unknowingly spreading the virus.

When travelling on public transport it is crucial you wear a face covering at all times. Try to walk or cycle instead where possible, especially for local journeys.

Linkbus consultation

Nottingham City Council’s Linkbus network provides important connections to residents living or working in areas where commercial bus routes are not viable.

The council is facing very serious budget challenges, and is having to make some extremely difficult decisions on the services we provide. This includes a proposal to reduce funding for our Linkbus services.

Let us know your views on the proposals by taking part in our public consultation, ending Sunday 21 February.
