** Loujain al-Hathloul’s release gives everyone hope but the struggle continues
------------------------------------------------------------

[link removed] CEO Ruth Smeeth welcomes the release ([link removed]) of women's rights activist Loujain al-Hathloul after 1,001 days in a Saudi jail but the activist still faces a five-year travel ban and restrictions on her freedom of expression.

It is also a fact that there are too many activists still imprisoned in Saudi Arabia for demanding their basic human rights. Too many women being held as political prisoners. Too many activists who just want to build a fairer society.

We should celebrate this great piece of news for what it is but should think of the other activists who are #JailedNotForgotten ([link removed]) .
