It's almost time, friend!
We've spent months crunching the numbers and results are almost in — LCV's 2020
National Environmental Scorecard will be released NEXT week. This critical work to hold Congress accountable wouldn't be possible without you — so I want to share this opportunity to be one of the first people to receive your senators' scores. Next week you can see how your senators and representatives in Congress voted on critical issues like tackling climate change, safeguarding clean air and water, advancing democracy, racial equity, clean energy, and protecting welcoming and accessible public lands.
2020 was a year like no other as our nation struggled with the four interwoven crises of the coronavirus pandemic, economic inequality, racial injustice, and climate change — and we the people deserve to know how our elected officials voted to advance democracy, environmental justice, and climate action during this consequential year. That's where LCV comes in.
The 2020 National Environmental Scorecard is the best way we can hold our elected officials accountable by meticulously tracking how each member of Congress voted on critical environmental, justice, and democracy issues.
Be part of this important work — text LCVSCORECARD to 877-877 and receive an alert when the Scorecard is released.
Looking forward to sharing this with you,
