Sonja Nichols - President and CEO of Nicholant Enterprises
Addul Ali - Chairman of North Carolina Black Conservative Voices and Operations Director for the Frederick Douglas Foundation
Pierre Wilson
In 1989, Pierre was born in Silver Spring, MD, to a Black American mom and a Trinidadian father. His parents split when he was very young, and he spent a lot of his youth moving from place to place as his mom struggled to make ends meet. Pierre graduated from Maurice J. McDonough High School in Pomfret, MD in 2007.
That same year, Pierre started college at a historically black college (HBCU), the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). While Pierre had always volunteered and found ways to help others, it was here that he first sought office to create change. He joined the student government association (SGA) and even ran for class President, successfully winning. From raising money for his class to fighting to extend library hours for midterms and finals week, Pierre proved to be a changemaker. Pierre then transferred to Salisbury University (SU) due to UMES not offering his major, political science, in which he later graduated from in 2012.
Following college, Pierre relocated to Charlotte, NC in March of 2013. He has since been involved in local politics. Pierre is a member of the Mecklenburg County Republican Club, Mecklenburg County Young Republicans, and Black Voices for Trump. In addition to his role as the National Director for BLEXIT, he serves as Public Relations Chairman for Mecklenburg Black Republican Club, as well as the Regional Director for the North Carolina Federation of Young Republicans.
Through his roles, Pierre has consistently advocated for criminal justice reform, limited government, family values, and encouraging young people to get active in politics. He’s also advocated for school choice, economic freedom, and the Black exit from the democratic party.
Pierre is now based out of Washington, DC, and Charlotte, NC, but spends the majority of his time traveling the country helping to liberate Black America.
