Chinese New Year

CNY Lakeside
*Thurs 11 to Fri 26 February*

*Online*

________________________________________________________________________

Nottingham Lakeside Arts and the Nottingham Confucius Institute are marking the beginning of the Year of the Ox, with an online performance suitable for all the family.

See traditional dance and tai chi from University of Nottingham students and staff in China, and an amazing drumming spectacular from Malaysia.

Also, look out for renowned guitarist Xuefei Yang, marvellous erhu player Ling Peng, and the hugely talented Dans Chinese dance troupe.

Then, take part yourself. Try cookery with Lan's Recipes, brush painting with Feng-Ru Lee and magical face changing with Shuai Zhao.

Online access is free, however payment is optional with all proceeds donated to the Nottingham Hospitals Charity. The performance will be available online until Friday 26 February. Perfect for half term.
