Team,
Kansans are known for their loving and giving spirit – helping neighbors in need and caring for their community. Many of us volunteer in our churches, give to charities, and share our blessings with friends and families.
Many of us also supported President Trump and the conservative policies of the last four years.
Yet some on the left have developed such a hatred for the former president, they've extended that to the millions of Americans who supported him.
An opinion piece in the Los Angeles Times highlights one liberal's struggle with acknowledging the genuine goodness of Trump supporters. But this misguided view of patriotic Americans is harmful to the fabric of our communities – and it certainly doesn't instill a sense of unity that is being expressed by those on the left.
