John,
The American people voted for more relief this year — and they're expecting Democrats to use their mandate and get it done. So why are some of those same Democrats trying so hard to deliver less relief in the name of bipartisanship and "unity"?
Some are proposing that Congress lower the eligibility thresholds for survival checks from $75,000 to $50,000 — which means some working families who got checks from Trump last year won't get them now.
Progressives in the House worked tirelessly with Democratic leadership to do away with eligibility thresholds in their reconciliation bill. Now it's the Senate's turn. Will you sign our petition demanding that Democrats in the Senate do more in 2021 than Republicans did in 2020 — not less?

Nearly one million Americans lost their jobs this past week — adding to the millions that have lost their jobs since the start of this pandemic last year. It's no wonder that Biden's recovery package gets broad, bipartisan support from voters — and that 4 in 10 Americans believe it doesn't go far enough.1
We need Congress to pass a full jobs and care agenda to get us out of the crises we're living through, towards a nation that cares for all of us. This recovery package is a critical first step, and we need to make sure it isn't reduced by one dollar or delayed by one day in pursuit of "bipartisan" votes from elected officials who belong to a party that only answers to billionaires and insurrectionists.
We have to do everything we can right now to get the kind of relief Democrats campaigned on directly to working families.
Sign your name to our petition calling on Senate Democrats to do more — not less — in 2021 to get relief to the American people.
