After record-numbers of nominations and votes from Colorado Democrats all across our state, I am so pleased to announce the winners of the 2021 Obama Gala Awards!
Before we announce the winners, I want to thank EVERYONE who worked so hard to deliver historic election results in Colorado and recognize all of the incredible Colorado Dems who were in the running for the 2021 Awards. As Democrats, we accomplished a lot together in the past year. Without each and every one of you, and each and every one of those nominated, our 2020 victories would not have been possible.
It is thanks to all of you that we elected Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, that we defeated Cory Gardner and flipped the U.S. Senate, that we flipped local seats from red to blue, and that we protected the Democratic majorities in the Colorado House and Senate. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of you.
