John, we have some good news about net neutrality!
After Ajit Pai and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) gutted net neutrality, we fought for and won the strongest state-level open Internet protections in the country in California.1
But the telecom industry and the Trump administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a lawsuit to block the “gold standard” California law from going into effect. Now, the Federal government has dropped that lawsuit, which removes a major roadblock on the path to restoring net neutrality protections across the country.2
Now we need to swing into action and use this momentum to renew our pressure on Congress and the FCC to restore these protections for everyone. Will you chip in to help save net neutrality?

Clearing the path for the California law to go into effect will put even more pressure on Congress and the FCC. But it will also send telecom giants like AT&T and Comcast into a frenzy.
They’ll be pouring even more money into lobbying and disinformation campaigns, and they’ll renew their efforts to get Congress to pass weak legislation that preempts the California law and creates giant loopholes for telecom monopolies to abuse.
Net neutrality is pretty simple: it says that cable and phone companies shouldn’t be able to control what websites we can visit or charge us extra fees based on where we get our news, listen to music, and watch videos.
Millions of people are demanding that the new administration and Congress restore net neutrality. But it will only happen if we organize, and to do that we need to raise the funds to launch petitions, drive calls and emails to legislators, build the coalition, generate press coverage, and more.
We can do this! We’re closer now than we’ve been in years. Click here to donate right now to help us save net neutrality.
Thanks for all you do,
