Donald Trump emboldened white supremacists and dangerous conspiracy theorists throughout the last four years -- and it was Trump who incited the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Now, he MUST face the consequences.
Right now, half of Americans believe the Senate should convict Trump, according to The Hill. But even though half of Americans want our government to take a stand against Trump, the GOP is backing away from holding Trump accountable.
If Republicans really care about upholding the rule of law or the American people, they need to join Senate Democrats on the right side of history and make sure Trump never holds power again.
