The government announced NHS reforms today, and you may have been delighted to see them being discussed as reducing the role of the private sector in England. But the reality is that these reforms will mean MORE American-style privatisation of our health service.

Our NHS is the best thing this country has ever created. So we can't let this happen.

Join the campaign calling on the government to really end privatisation and reinstate our NHS as a fully public service!

The government have realised that we want our NHS back.

But they're not really 'taking back control'. 

These plans will give private companies BIGGER roles in decision-making and MORE contracts without any checks and balances.

By signing today, you're joining together to show what we truly want for our NHS.

An NHS in public hands that can get on with the job of caring for people. 

That would be a true legacy to come out of this awful time.

We know that it's all really confusing. We've looked at the reforms, spoken to campaigners and now we need you!

From testing to contact tracing, the privatisation we've seen just in the last year has been life threatening. Yet Matt Hancock said working in “partnership” with the private sector has been one of the “big learnings” from the pandemic. 

This government is hellbent on involving the private sector in our health service further. 

But they know this isn't popular. That's why they're putting this spin on these reforms. It's smoke and mirrors. 

That's why we need to show them that we won't fall for this: we want an NHS run for the public, not profit. And we are going to fight for it.

Thanks so much to everyone who filled in our survey last week. 3 out of 4 of you said in your response that campaigning to protect the NHS should be a top priority. Let's make 2021 the year we protect this amazing public service from the profiteers and their friends in government. 

These plans for NHS England are not a good sign of things to come for the UK's health services. So please, no matter where you are, please sign the petition today.
