Hi,

The videos make it clear: the Senate must convict Trump.

On Wednesday, House impeachment managers opened their case with a stunning, shocking video that showed how Trump helped encourage the right-wing mob that stormed the Capitol.1

Yesterday they showed never-before-seen video that demonstrated the mob came closer than anyone had thought to legislators -- they were mere steps from encountering Senators who were fleeing to safety.2

But Republicans are still refusing to consider conviction, claiming a "January exception" that doesn't exist anywhere in the law or the Constitution.3

We are mobilizing constituents from across America to tell Senators from both parties: the evidence is clear and Trump must be convicted in this impeachment trial, in order to protect our democracy!

Sign the petition: Tell the Senate to convict Trump!

Trump has undermined our democracy in other impeachable ways. Even before the January 6 insurrection, Trump had committed an impeachable offense when he called Georgia's Secretary of State demanding he change the vote count in Trump's favor.4

But the events of January 6 were even worse. Trump rallied white nationalists to overturn the election results and they immediately went to attack the Capitol.

There must be consequences. Even though Trump is out of office, convicting him will show future presidents that they cannot abuse their power and undermine our democracy without facing severe repercussions for doing so.

Senate Republicans cannot continue to stand by Trump as more and more damning evidence emerges in this Senate trial. It's time to let them know you expect them to convict -- and that their constituents are watching closely.

Thanks for taking action,
