What is going on?

Politics is (always) moving fast.

Boris Johnson will do anything to force a no-deal Brexit on our country. And he wants to shift the blame onto anyone else for whatever happens.

His language in Parliament has brought shame on the office of Prime Minister. But we mustn't get distracted by outrage - that is what they want. We must stay focused on the real danger.

The danger of a no-deal Brexit. The danger to jobs, to our NHS, to people's lives, to the opportunities we take for granted.

The law says Boris Johnson must ask for an extension of Article 50 by 19th October. He says he'll find a way round that law.

That is why MPs must keep sitting. That is why we cannot have a general election yet. That is why I need you to write to your MP again.

Parliament is full of emotion right now. Anger on both sides Fear on both sides. Boris Johnson is playing to his base by lowering the tone of debate.

Your action now will keep minds focused where they should be - on stopping no deal Brexit.
