Sign the Valentine's Day Card: "Roses are red. Violets are blue. We love your #NoKXL decision. It's time for DAPL, Line 3, MVP, and Jordan Cove, too."
John --
We want to send some love this Valentine's Day to President Biden and Vice President Harris, to thank them for taking the "NoKXL Pledge" back when they were candidates competing for the Democratic nomination -- and to express our deep gratitude to President Biden, V.P. Harris, and their administration for taking decisive and swift action to revoke the Keystone XL pipeline permit on Day One.
But we also still see our fellow Pipeline Fighters and Water Protectors organizing in the cold right now out on the frontlines in Minnesota taking action to stop Line 3.
And brave folks up in the trees of Appalachia protecting land against the Mountain Valley Pipeline.
And the Lakota youth running a 93-mile relay to the site of the Dakota Access camps at Standing Rock.
And we see the landowners and attorneys and climate advocates arguing tirelessly in federal and state courts, and showing up to public hearings on Zoom and in masks to protect our land, water, and climate, from projects like Jordan Cove.
All of these projects have abused eminent domain for private gain, are trampling the sovereign rights of Tribal Nations -- and would flunk the same climate test that President Obama used to reject Keystone XL.
Sign the Valentine's Card: "Roses are red. Violets are blue. We love your #NoKXL decision. It's time for DAPL, Line 3, MVP, and Jordan Cove, too."
Thanks for standing with us.
