The Senate trial to convict Donald Trump for inciting the Capitol riots is underway, and while we won't know the outcome for some days, we do know that your support, and the support of thousands of progressives who've stood alongside us, got us to this moment.

But Republicans have been using the impeachment trial to fill their coffers, just like they did in Trump's first impeachment, when they raised over $100 million by using him as a martyr.

If Republicans fail to convict Donald Trump in the Senate now, they will have failed you, the American people.

Throughout the past four years, we've seen progressives leading the fight for truth, accountability, and working families in Washington. They've served as the final barrier between the Republican far-right agenda and the American people, and it's clearer than ever that we need a progressive majority in Congress to undo the GOP's damage.

Unfortunately, we simply don't have those funds to fuel our fight for progress right now, and I'm getting concerned we won't have the budget we need to do our necessary work in this cycle.

That's why I'm hoping I can count on you today, because we cannot do this without you.
