Plus: Freedom of Assembly and Petition next week Tomorrow's LIVE Class: First Amendment: Religion With Kurt Lash In this Friday session, professor Kurt Lash, E. Claiborne Robins Distinguished Chair in Law at the University of Richmond School of Law, joins National Constitution Center President and CEO Jeffrey Rosen for a discussion on the First Amendment’s free exercise and establishment clauses. During this session, we will examine the historical context and the drafting of the First Amendment, the protections enshrined in the religion clauses, and how the Supreme Court has interpreted the clauses over time. Lash will also discuss his career as a writer and professor, as well as answer questions from participants. REGISTER What Next?
