We have a big announcement.
If we’re going to utilize this window of opportunity with Democrats in control of the House, Senate, and Presidency, it’s going to take a skilled and united organizing force.
As you know, the strength of our movement for Medicare for All is determined by the power of our on-the-ground organizing in communities across the country.
That’s why we’re excited to announce the Medicare for All Leadership School – a two-month program beginning Wednesday, March 31, to help leaders in our movement become even more effective organizers.
If you have any friends or family you think should apply as well, please share the application with them! We will be accepting 20 - 30 people for the first session of the Leadership School and plan to offer additional sessions later in the year.
It’s the everyday people like you – stepping up to host interest meetings, plan actions, join car caravans, meet with your representatives, and so much more – who have gotten us to where we are today.
This is the people power we need to win — and when Congress reintroduces Medicare for All soon, we’ll need more people than ever in this fight with the skills we’ll be sharing in this program.
The more people we have with a clear local plan of action, fighting for Medicare for All in their communities – the more quickly and effectively we’ll win.
Whether you’re new to organizing or a seasoned pro, everyone is encouraged to apply. This course will take your skills to the next level, growing and developing your confidence as an organizer for the long haul.
The school will require a time commitment of roughly 5 hours per week for two months, and you must be able to participate through the duration of the course.
Excited to get started.
