[1]Bowman for Congress

John,

As the impacts of mass incarceration, food and rent insecurity, gun
violence, and a raging pandemic continue to plague our nation, many
Americans can't afford to wait for major legislative action to bring
much-needed and long-lasting change.

In New York, Jamaal's district was the epicenter of COVID-19 outbreak in
New York. It was harshly hit by the virus's rapid spread and required a
sustained need for resources. Since then, everyday people have seen the
need for essential intervention, and through local organizations, they are
courageously stepping up to the challenge to bring support and resources
to their neighbors — and it's working.

John, where there
are people, there is power. Supporting organizations and individuals who
are dedicated to providing critical support to our neighbors is one of the
best ways to help strengthen our city from the ground up.

[ [link removed] ]That is why we're inviting you to make a split contribution to two
local New York organizations that are helping people affected by mass
incarceration, food and rent insecurity, and gun violence. Will you stand
in solidarity by making a contribution of any amount?

Here are the two organizations we hope you'll join us in supporting:

* Life Progressive Services helps formerly incarcerated individuals in
New York transition back into the community through advocacy,
education, and resource provisions.

* Bronx Christian Fellowship is meeting the needs of our community by
offering food and clothing resources, mentor programs targeting
at-risk youth, and extracurricular programs and events to build
bridges between the youth and law enforcement.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to expose the vast inequities that
disproportionately affect our communities, these organizations need our
support now more than ever. We have a real chance to build a community
that works for all people, and not just some, but we need your help to see
this chance come to light.

[ [link removed] ]If you can support these causes, please join us in showing up for our
neighbors and split a $5 donation between these organizations today.

Thank you for your support,

Team Bowman
