Friend,

Stacey Abrams, a fierce voting rights activist and champion for communities of color, has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Abrams was nominated by a member of Norway's parliament, who noted that her “efforts to complete Dr. Martin Luther King's work are crucial if the United States of America shall succeed in its effort to create fraternity between all its peoples and a peaceful and just society.”

We couldn't agree more. Abrams has served as an example of progressive power for countless generations in our country and around the world. She was a grounding force for many of us after Republicans tried to undermine our electoral system and suppress the votes of millions of Black and brown Americans.

But not everyone believes Abrams is worthy of such high praise. The GOP has even created a “Stop Stacey” campaign to undermine her influence, and Abrams is up against Donald Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner for the same accolade. That's why today, we need to hear from you:

Do you think Stacey Abrams deserves a Nobel Peace Prize?

Yes   No
