Gavin Newsom has turned California into one of the highest-taxed and LEAST business-friendly states in the country.

Instead of living the California Dream, it’s become a nightmare for many residents.

For the second year in a row, more people have left California than moved here — and they took their businesses with them. Especially as more can work from home these days, Californians are fed up with the skyrocketing cost of living and the steeply declining quality of life.

A study even ranked California “dead last” on state growth this year. Clearly, there is something very wrong to warrant such a mass exodus from a state that was once a top destination for Americans to make a life.

I know we can restore California to its former golden glory, but it’s not going to happen with Gavin Newsom at the helm. Please chip in to support making a change in California!

As mayor of San Diego, I spoke out and helped defeat higher sales, property taxes and income taxes. I opposed increasing the gas tax and fought for small businesses by helping stop a plan to undermine Proposition 13. I signed 7 balanced budgets, brought onboard an independent auditor to serve as a watchdog over government spending, and made government more efficient and transparent.

As Governor, I would do the same.

I will fight so you can keep more of the money you earn and will veto any tax increase that comes to my desk.

Our family, friends, and neighbors are being forced to leave the state we call home because of Gavin Newsom’s failed leadership. Help me restore the California we love by making a grassroots contribution now.

California should be a place anyone can live, not just the wealthy.
