I?am delighted to officially announce that
Julie Scott Emmons has joined the team at NC Values Coalition as our
new Vice President. ?
Julie most recently
served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Mark Walker where she
had a reputation and proven track record of working with others to
champion solutions and advocate for causes and constituents across the
state.
She is a lifelong advocate for persons with disabilities
and has used every opportunity in her public and private life to
advocate for the sanctity of life, because every human life has value.
As a K-12 educator, Adjunct Instructor and Academic Support Specialist
for special education, and a current Trustee at Alamance Community
College, Julie brings over 17 years of education experience and
perspective to help work on education reform in North
Carolina.
For over 30 years Julie has vigorously and
passionately worked on pro-life, human trafficking, education and
justice reform across the state. Throughout her career Julie has
served conservative candidates and elected officials at the local,
state and federal levels. Julie and her husband and family live in
Alamance County.
Julie will work on our legislative priorities
and lobbying efforts;?oversee our development efforts, and help expand
the footprint of NC Values around the state.
