Sabato Crystal Ball just released an analysis of Congressional Democrats who won in a Trump district, and Matt is on this very short list! That means Matt was only one of seven Democrats that won in a district that Trump carried in 2020.
No matter where the final 2022 battle lines are drawn, it’s clear that Matt’s race is going to be right up front in the fight to keep the House Democratic majority — and this means we just shot up on the Republican list of targets for the 2022 midterm elections and that their dark-money mega-donors are going to start pumping in millions of dollars into the race.
